Personal Records Abound for MS Cross Country in Recent Race
The middle school cross country team traveled on 10/11/23 to Imagine Schools at South Vero to take part in a meet against 7 other schools.
For the boys team, Jamin Dunham hit a 2-mile personal record of 13:24 to secure an 8th place finish. Also running 2-mile personal records were Chris Curley at 15:46 and Jaison Collins at 16:47. Henry Logemann hit a 2-mile personal record, taking 2 minutes and 9 seconds off his last 2-mile race time.
The girls team placed 1st overall, with Jacquelyn Perrin capturing 3rd place individually with a time of 14:45. Teammate Annabelle Timmermann followed closely finishing 4th with a personal record time of 14:59. Charlie Cappelen recorded a 7th place finish with 15:52. Linley Curley-Davis also crossed the finish line having set a 3 1/2 minute personal record.
