MS Cross Country Hosts Indian River County MS Championship
The middle school cross country team hosted the Indian River County Middle School Championship on 10/18/23. The girls team captured 1st place overall to earn the title of Indian River County Middle School Champions. The boys team finished an impressive 3rd place overall.
For the girls, Annabelle Timmermann led the Pirates on the course, finishing 3rd individually with a time of 13:22. Jacquelyn Perrin was close behind in 4th place with a time of 13:55. Charlie Cappelen secured 6th place with 14:15 and Christina Wang recorded 7th place with 14:28. Their 1st place team finish qualified the girls team for the FLYRA Middle School State Championship.
For the boys team, Jamin Dunham led the team with his 7th place finish at 12:24. Dean Sincavage finished 13th in a time of 13:01, and Finn Conforti placed 16th with 13:17.
