Blue Team for MS Boys Basketball Downs Falcons in Season Opener

On 11/6/23, the blue team for middle school boys basketball hosted Saint Helen's School in the Wachter Activities Center for their first game of the season. In a close game from tipoff to buzzer, the Pirates fell behind early in the game but maintained their composure to take the halftime lead 18-13. Despite a scoring run by the Falcons in the second half, the Pirates stayed focused in the 4th quarter, reestablishing control of the game pace with strong defense and steady offense to regain the lead. The Pirates ultimately declared victory over their opponents with the final score of 31-26.

Trip Williams led the way on the court for the Pirate team with 10 points, followed closely by Syrus Cooper with 8 and Kayleb Redmon with 6. Dylan Colontrelle sank 4 points, and Bobby Varricchio nabbed 3 points to seal the Pirate win.
