Varsity Cross Country Runs Well at Regionals
The varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Class 1A Region 4 Tournament on 11/9/23 at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton and finished their season with more postseason top performances.
For the boys team, Thomas Leonard hit a huge personal record drop of 40 seconds and ran a 19:31.4, and Daniel Clemente hit a personal record with 22:26.3. Teammates Bobby Campbell, Jimmy Collins, and AJ Munz rounded out the Pirate team with solid finishes in the race.
Elizabeth Campbell led the girls team, dropping 21 seconds for a new career personal record of 23:38.7. Sienna Mallon dropped 46 seconds from last week's District race for a season best of 24:15.0. Rounding out the scoring for the Pirate team was Jacquelyn Perrin, Charlie Cappelen, Tyler Colgan, Alexandra Perrin, and Isabella Peter.
