Varsity Girls Basketball Takes on Cocoa Beach
On 12/1/23, the varsity girls basketball team traveled to Cocoa Beach to take on the Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School Minutemen. Despite putting up a good fight, the Pirates fell 30-52.
Avonti Jennings, in her best scoring output of the season thus far, led the team in scoring with 13 points, followed closely by Gaby Collazo with 7. Teammates Chase Nelson and Sommer Soderman tallied 4 points apiece, and Shaniya Bryant chipped in 2 for the Pirates.
