MS Boys Basketball's Blue Team Soars Over Eagles
The blue team for middle school boys basketball hosted the Morningside Academy Eagles on 12/12/23 in the Wachter Activities Center. A relentless defense and steady offense kept the Pirates in the lead from the first whistle to the last horn, as the Pirates successfully defeated the Eagles 40-14.
Offensive scoring was led by Reid Morris with 7 points, Trip Williams with 6 points, and Syrus Cooper with 6 points. Dylan Colontrelle put up 5 points in the Pirate victory, and Cov Kennedy and Chase Colontrelle sank 4 points each. Bobby Varricchio and Kayleb Redmon each netted 3 points, and Turner Barnett claimed 2 points toward the win.
