Grey Team for MS Boys Basketball Brings Down Morningside
On 12/12/23, the grey team for middle school boys basketball traveled to Port St. Lucie to take on Morningside Academy. The determined Pirates pushed past the Eagles to bring home a 36-16 victory.
The seventh-grade duo of Teddy Donohoe and William Suleman led the way on the court for the Pirates. Donohoe scored 5 times from the field and hit 3 free throws for a season-high 13 points and provided many assists to teammate Suleman in the middle, which led to Suleman's crucial 6 points in the 2nd quarter. Cooper Travis and CJ Drake each collected 4 points for the Pirate team, and Henry Logemann hit a key 3-pointer for the Pirates. Adding 2 points each in the successful night for the Pirates were Griffin Hutton, Finn Conforti, and Baxter Corrigan.
