Varsity Boys Soccer Sees Draw Against Circle Christian

The varsity boys soccer team returned to the field from their winter break on 1/5/24 in a home game matchup at Pirate Stadium against Circle Christian School. The Pirates and the Centurions engaged in a thrilling back-and-forth battle and ultimately ended the game in a 3-3 draw.

Scoring a goal apiece for the Pirates were William Kourakis and Jason Britton. Marlon Dato-Slattery provided 2 assists, including 1 own goal by the Centurions off the assist. Wyatt Barton also collected an assist for the Pirates. Keegan Nyman, with many great saves at the goal for the Pirate team throughout the game, collected a beautiful penalty kick save to keep the Centurions at bay.
 
Next game is Senior Night on 1/9/24 against John Carroll Catholic High School, starting at 7:00 PM on the Michael J. Mersky Field.
