Close Game for Varsity Boys Soccer Against Westminster Christian

On 1/19/24, the varsity boys soccer team took on Westminster Christian School of Miami, one of the best teams in Florida, at home on the Michael J. Mersky Field. Despite being down 0-3 at halftime, the Pirates rallied to score 2 goals toward the end of the 2nd half and put themselves closer to a tie. Even though they lost the thrilling matchup 2-3 to the Warriors, the Pirates played an excellent game on the field and proved that they could hold their own against the higher-ranked team.

Scoring a goal apiece for the Pirates were William Kourakis and Jah Jeune. Teammate Pato Argote collected assists for both goals. Keegan Nyman proved vital at the net with 13 saves.
 
Next game is the Class 2A District 8 Quarterfinals on 1/25/24 versus Master's Academy of Vero, starting at 5:00 PM in Pirate Stadium.
