Varsity Girls Lacrosse Dominates Preseason Classic
The varsity girls lacrosse team hosted Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on 2/7/24 at Pirate Stadium for their Preseason Classic. The Pirates easily handled the Tigers, taming them 13-1 on the field.
The Pirates displayed solid offensive action throughout the game, with scoring contributions being made across almost the entire roster. Aerin Russell led the team on the scoreboard with 2 goals, and CJ Fykes collected 1 goal and 2 assists. Teammates Bebe Busch-Dunford, Kelly Lynch, and Avery Orzechowski provided 1 goal and 1 assist each. Scoring 1 goal apiece in the victory were Carrington Brown, Mary Kathryn Watson, Nicollette Kennedy, Leah Chin, Margaret Fykes, Lily O'Brien, and Millicent Critchfield. Charlie Cappelen added 1 assist to round out the successful day for the Pirate team.
