Varsity Girls Lacrosse Silences Thunderwolves
On 3/5/24, the varsity girls lacrosse team traveled to West Palm Beach to go head-to-head with the Oxbridge Academy Thunderwolves The Pirates dominated the field against their opponents to bring home a solid 15-3 win and improve to 4-2 on the season.
Scoring for the Pirates were CJ Fykes with 3 goals and 1 assist; Mary Kathryn Watson and Carrington Brown with 2 goals and 2 assists each; Caitlin Moscrip and Kelly Lynch with 2 goals apiece; Aerin Russell with 1 goal and 2 assists; and Millicent Critchfield, Lily O'Brien, and Grace Fykes with 1 goal each. Margaret Fykes also provided 1 assist for the Pirates.
On defense, timely caused turnovers were produced by Bebe Busch-Dunford, Lynch, Nevin Waddell, and Russell. Pirate goalie Maddie Moscrip recorded 3 saves on the night.
