Varsity Boys Lacrosse Takes Down Thunderwolves
The varsity boys lacrosse team traveled to Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach for their game on 3/1/24. The Pirates showed off their skills on the field as they brought down the Thunderwolves 11-7.
The Pirates were led on the scoreboard by Reed Sternberg with 3 goals and 3 assists and Connor O'Brien with 3 goals. Harrison Hardin netted 2 goals for the Pirates, and Will Russell provided 1 goal and 2 assists for the team. Keegan Nyman, who put up 1 goal and 1 assist, also dominated at faceoff wins for the Pirate team with 11. Adding 1 goal for the Pirates was Luke Herrman. Pirate goaltender Kieran Colgan made 14 saves on 21 shots on goal.
On-the-field stats for the Pirate team include 9 ground balls, 19 shots on goal, and 17 faceoff wins.
