Varsity Girls Tennis Sweeps Eau Gallie
On 3/19/24, the varsity girls tennis team hosted Eau Gallie High School at the Riverside Park Tennis Courts. The Pirates handily defeated the Commodores on the courts to claim a 7-0 victory.
Winning singles matches for the girls team were #1 Sofia Corominas de Wit (8-5), #2 Alex Shackelton (8-1), #3 Emmery Clarkson (8-3), #4 Jenessa Kendall (8-0), and #5 Charlotte Peponis (8-2).
The #1 doubles team of Kendall/Dhanika Perez clinched their match with an 8-0 sweep. Capping off the successful day were Lilli Hagemeier and Addison Logemann (8-4) with their #2 doubles win.
Winning exhibition singles matches for the girls team were Mia Maldonado (8-2) and Chandler Higdon (8-0).
