SES ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Alexander Wolek
Congratulations to eighth grader Alexander Wolek for being selected as one of this week's Saint Edward's School Athletes of the Week!
A vital member of the varsity boys weightlifting team, Wolek scored 1st place in the Olympic & Traditional categories in his weight class at the 3/20/24 home meet versus John Carroll High School. Hitting all 9 lifts, he set new personal records for the clean&jerk and bench and also with his Olympic & Traditional category totals. This is Wolek's second year as a member of the varsity boys weightlifting team.
