Varsity Girls Tennis Crushes Competition on Senior Night
On 4/4/24, the varsity girls tennis team hosted The Pine School at Riverside Park Tennis Courts for their Senior Night game. The Pirates came in hot on the courts, to soundly defeat the Knights 7-0.
Winning their singles matches for the girls team were #1 Sofia Corominas de Wit (8-5), #2 Alex Shackelton (8-2), #3 Jenessa Kendall (8-0), #4 Charlotte Peponis (8-1), and #5 Dhanika Perez (8-0).
Kendall/Perez handily won their #1 doubles match 8-1. Ensuring the Pirates' sweep were Mia Maldonado and Chandler Higdon (8-3) with their #2 doubles win.
