The Pirate Ball

This past Saturday night, the Saint Edward’s School community showed up in full force to support our School. In fact, the Pirate Ball was sold out! The people I spoke with mentioned how happy their children were at the School, and they were thrilled to support a great cause in Saint Edward’s.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Victoria Brown and Rossy Harper, who co-chaired the event. I would also like to thank the entire Pirate Ball Committee, who partnered with Maria Segua to make this year’s event one of the best ever!

Along with Maria, Victoria, Rossy and the rest of the committee, I would like to thank our Board of Trustees, the entire Development Office under the leadership of Kathy Savage, the Marketing and Communications Department under the leadership of Monica Jennings and the loads of other SES staff members who made this herculean effort possible.

We could not have done this without the wonderful generosity of our auction donors, who gave fabulous items that generated thousands of dollars. We couldn’t have done this without you!

I am happy to report that we exceeded our financial goals for this event, and it was because of the power of our community. There is strong support for what we are doing, and this is shown through the generosity of those within our community.

I stand in awe of all of you!

Go Pirates, and I look forward to seeing you around campus!
