Varsity Track & Field Wraps Up Regular Season at Falcon Classic
The varsity track and field team participated in the Falcon Classic at Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach on 4/19/24 in their last meet of the regular. The Pirates finished their season strong, with many personal records set by the team.
The girls team dominated the throwing events, with Meagan Baker capturing 1st in Shot Put and 2nd in Javelin and Mia Perez collecting 1st in Javelin and 3rd in Discus. The boys team also saw great success in field events, with Jack Curley placing 4th in Javelin, William Suleman placing 7th in Javelin, and Matthew Cocks placing 7th in Discus and setting a personal record.
Setting personal records in their respective events were Milani Perez in Long Jump, Trey Donohoe in Long Jump, Kamara Simon in 400m, Jacquelyn Perrin in 800m, and Curley in 800m.
