Try to create a balance between academics and other important things in your life. High school is only four years - enjoy it!

Try to get involved in things that interest you and take advantage of as many opportunities as possible. This is the time to get out of your comfort zone and try something new.

Just use this time to figure out what you like to do and how you want to spend your time. Get involved in as many activities as you can because they will be the things you remember when you look back on your time in school.

4) Favorite class and/or teacher: AP English Language (shout out to Mrs. Barnes for being the best) and AP World History with Mr. Mitchell. I can't forget about Dr. Mohr and Bronia Jenkins, though, both of whom never failed to make me feel a part of the family.
5) Proudest SES achievement: Surviving. Also, the 2021-2022 yearbook, available to seniors Friday 4/29 on the senior patio following the ceremony! 6) Piece of advice for current SES students: Worry less about what's next and more about where you are. We're all going to get where we're going, but you're only here once.

3) Favorite SES memory: going to Yellowstone with an amazing group and one of my closest friends— and learning about ecology in a national park!

5) Proudest SES achievement: having an art piece hung in congress, winning at the state science fair for four years. 6) Piece of advice for current SES students: Whenever there's an opportunity— to meet someone new, try something different, go somewhere you haven't seen before— do it! even in the most smallest things, branch out and make the most of where you are.

3) Favorite SES memory: The rafting trip at the beginning of freshman year. Many of the people I got to know on the 14-hour bus ride there are still some of my best friends today :)
4) Favorite class and/or teacher: I have loved having Mrs. Jenkins, Mr. Lee, Mrs. Barnes, Dr. Mohr, Mr. Kruger and Sra. Heard
5) Proudest SES achievement: Receiving a perfect score on a piece I performed at a Spanish competition. 6) Piece of advice for current SES students: Try your best but don't overwork yourself in terms of academics. Take care of yourself mentally first! Have fun with your friends and enjoy every moment you can. <3
1) Year you became a Pirate: I started at SES in Pre-Kindergarten.
2) Top three favorite things you participated in at SES: My top three things would be playing on the lacrosse team, basketball team, and also participating in Unity Day.
3) Favorite SES memory: My favorite SES memory was last lacrosse season when we won the district, regional, and made it all the way to the State Championship.
4) Favorite class and/or teacher: My two favorite classes that I have taken at SES would be AP Biology with Dr. Monahan as well as Micro/Macroeconomics with Mr. Lee.
5) Proudest SES achievement: My proudest SES achievement would be last year when we won the District Championship in front of the entire SES community. 6) Piece of advice for current SES students: A key piece of advice I have learned during my time at SES would be to participate and take advantage of all the opportunities at the school such as clubs, after school activities, and challenging yourself with the hardest classes you can handle.
