Season Opening Victory for MS Girls Volleyball's Grey Team
The grey team for middle school girls volleyball started their season off at home in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center against Sebastian Charter Junior High School on 9/2/25. The eager Pirate team brought down the Eagles in straight sets: 25-14, 25-23.
Middles Reagan Weaver (7th grade) and Leaza Combs (8th grade) finished the game with a combined 6 kills and 2 blocks. Libero Peyton Bittle (8th) recorded 6 digs. Setters Morgan Thompson (8th) and Paige Prezzano (8th) saw a combined total of 12 assists. Outsides Ilsa Dyer (8th) and Lucy Lynch (8th) contributed a combined 3 kills. Tessa Buza (6th), Illyana Durkin (7th), Kailynn-Rose LaFary (8th), Harper Padgett (6th), and Sienna Kirkland (7th) provided excellent passes and defense in the back row to lead the team to victory. Together, the team had 7 serving aces.
Next game is at home on 9/8/25 versus Berean Christian School, starting at 5:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
