MS Girls Volleyball's Grey Team Goes 3 Sets Against Pine
On 9/10/24, the grey team for middle school girls volleyball traveled to Hobe Sound to take on The Pine School. The Pirates won the 1st set 25-19 but saw the Knights rally back to take the 2nd competitive set 23-25. The 3rd set remained close with the Knights finally overcoming the Pirates 13-15 to seize away the victory.
Middles Reagan Weaver (7th grade), Leaza Combs (8th grade), and Illyana Durkin (7th) had a combined 12 kills. Libero Peyton Bittle (8th) saw 1 dig. Setters Morgan Thompson (8th) and Paige Prezzano (8th) recorded a combined total of 8 assists. Outsides Isla Dyer (8th) and Lucy Lynch (8th) contributed a combined 5 kills and 2 blocks. Tessa Buza (6th), Kailynn-Rose LaFary (8th), Harper Padgett (6th), and Sienna Kirkland (7th) played terrific defense for the Pirate team until the very last point. Together, the Pirates had 15 serving aces.
Next game is at home on 9/15/25 versus Saint Helen's School, starting at 5:00 PM in the Wachter Activities Center.
