JV Girls Volleyball Puts Forth Good Effort Against Okeechobee
The junior varsity girls volleyball team headed Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee on 9/8/25 for their road game. The Pirates found their rhythm straight out of the gate and were able to take many scoring runs away from the Brahmans. However, despite their best efforts, the Pirates fell in both sets 20-25, 20-25 after a hard-fought battle.
Ashley Dube led the Pirate team in serving aces, allowing the Pirates to create a strong scoring run. Alexandra Jefferson shone in serve receive and kills, while Piper McCollom led the team in defensive digs.
