The middle school cross country team opened their season on 8/30/25 at the Indian River Invite at the Indian River County Fairgrounds in Vero Beach. The boys team placed 2nd overall at the meet with 50 points and qualified for the FLYRA State Meet. Overall, the team placed 3 finishers in the top 10, with 5 members setting new personal records along the way.
Jamin Dunham led the way for the Pirates with his 2nd place finish with a 10:58 personal record, and Chris Perrin followed closely with his 3rd place finish for a 11:20 personal record. Cam Perrin finished strong in 5th place with 11:27 to set a personal record. Max Conforti finished 12th with a 12:15, a personal record. Aneesh Chalasani rounded out the scoring for the Pirates with his 29th place finish at 14:03. Christian Peter set a new personal record of 15:30, improving by 1:13. New to Pirate cross country, Finn Ensio, Sebastian Holbrook, Corbin Kulczycki, and Emerson McGregor all completed their first 3k.
