Saint Edward's School's Leadership Recognition Event

Last night, we honored members of our community who gave at least $1,000 or more to Saint Edward’s School during the 2024-25 school year. The event took place at The Moorings Club and was very well attended with 93 in attendance. This is yet another event that I look forward to because it allows us to recognize the people in our community who have been so supportive.

What makes evenings like this so meaningful is not simply the financial support we are acknowledging, but the spirit behind it. Each gift represents a belief in the mission of Saint Edward’s School. Every donor, whether they have been with us for many years or are relatively new to our community, has chosen to invest in something larger than themselves. That investment strengthens our ability to provide exceptional teaching, unique opportunities and a nurturing environment for all of our students.

It is also important to emphasize the impact that these contributions have on our day-to-day operations. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of a Saint Edward’s education. The generosity of our donors ensures that we can attract and retain outstanding faculty, maintain small class sizes and provide access to technology, arts and athletic programs that enrich the lives of our students. It also allows us to offer financial assistance to families, making a Saint Edward’s education accessible to a broader community. In short, your support fills the gap and keeps us moving forward. Your support also allows us to invest in our faculty through professional development opportunities. We believe that by equipping our teachers with the latest educational strategies and tools, we can ensure that they continue to deliver the highest quality education to our students. This commitment to excellence in teaching is one of the cornerstones of Saint Edward’s School, and it is made possible through your generous contributions.

In all, Saint Edward’s School was the benefactor of over $2.8 million dollars in giving last year. This is an amazing accomplishment and a true testament to how special our School is in the eyes of so many.

Events like last night’s gathering serve as a reminder that we are not just a school, but a family. We celebrate together, we grow together and we share in the responsibility of preparing our students for the future. Your generosity sets an example for them about what it means to give back, to contribute to something meaningful and to invest in the lives of others.
