JV Football Holds Back Brahmans
The junior varsity football team hosted Okeechobee High School on 9/30/25 in their first game of the season in PIrate Stadium. The Pirates proved tough opponents for the Brahmans as they claimed a 26-14 victory. The junior varsity team closes out their season with a perfect 3-0 record.
Christian Alfonso threw 2 touchdowns for the Pirate team and ran for another, and Jackson Parker threw a touchdown pass and saw a 2-point conversion. Recording touchdown receptions for the Pirates were Chase Colontrelle, Turner Barnett, and Chris Curley. On defense, Alfonso recorded an interception, and Colontrelle and Curley each forced and recovered a fumble. Elijah Lesnik maintained a dominant defensive presence with 2 sacks.
