JV Volleyball Narrowly Falls to Brahmans in Close Game
The junior varsity volleyball team hosted Okeechobee High School in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center on 8/27/25 in their first home game of the season. The Pirates played a hard-fought game against the Brahams but fell in the first set 13-25. Undeterred, the Pirates made a strong comeback in the second set, winning 25-12. Putting up a competitive front in the 3rd set, the Pirates narrowly lost the set 12 -15.
The Pirate serve line was dominated by Alexandra Jefferson and Camilla Dadufalza. Lily O’Brien led the team both in serve receive and defensive digs. Jefferson also led in kills, while Anastasia Headley led the team in blocks.
Next game is at home on 8/28/25 versus Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, starting at 5:00 PM in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center.
