On 9/88/25, the middle school girls volleyball's blue team hosted Berean Christian School in the Gonzalez-Lobo Activities Center. The Pirates put away the Bulldogs in straight sets: 25-6, 25-4.
Strong serving paved the way for the Pirates' first victory of the season. Violet Clemente led the clean sweep victory with 19 aces, with teammate Audrey Elliot serving for 9 points with 5 aces. Sarabeth Peske contributed 4 aces and 4 kills toward the victory and was joined in the net attack by strong play from Reagan Miner with 3 kills. Also providing kills for the Pirates were Maria Victoria Wilkinson Perilla, Khloe Prochette, and Kersti Stalquist. Exhibiting strong net play were Niah Boulding, Stella Morris, and Gabby Antenucci. The back court defensive effort from Elliot, Sloane Weber, and Gertie Busch-Dunford sealed the victory in both sets, allowing the Pirates to hold the Bulldogs at bay.
