Monica Murphy Jennings began her career in broadcasting, booking satellite feeds for international television news bureaus. She coordinated live shots from various locations on Capitol Hill and the White House and eventually became a remote and studio producer for in-house clients. She was recruited to Medialink, where she was in charge of live events and revenue development for the Washington Bureau. In a decade with the company, her responsibilities expanded into management of the entire domestic sales and marketing division, as well as consulted with international broadcast partners. After moving to Florida, she became a freelance writer for media-related websites and local publications. She returned to broadcasting briefly before joining Saint Edward’s School as marketing director. She is responsible for all earned, paid, and owned media for the School, and has expanded those responsibilities to include major gifts cultivation. She is married to Charlie Jennings and together they have two children enrolled at Saint Edward's School.
At Saint Edward’s pre-school children learn in developmentally appropriate groups, not arbitrarily determined by age, but formed by the understanding that a child learns more and their experience is greatly enriched by learning with children at the same developmental stage.

Middle School Innovations
Eighth grade students have the opportunity to investigate their own lives, reflect on past experiences, consider future experiences and prepare themselves with techniques for managing life in the near future in the new wheel course, Discoveries. Designed by Middle School Dean of Students, Krissie Fojtik, the course allows the oldest Middle School students to learn more about themselves and the world around them in preparation for the upcoming years in high school and college. It is both reflective and investigative in nature and includes class assignments, projects, discussion and journal writing.

Upper School Innovations
In keeping with the Saint Edward's School Mission to empower each child to reach his or her potential, each student in the Upper and Middle School participates in a Learning Styles Inventory under the direction of Camille Greene, Director of Learning Support Services.
"Learning style is the way in which each learner begins to concentrate on, process, absorb, and retain new and difficult information,” according to Mrs. Greene. ....
